NewLeafEd is me, Krystal! Mum, gardener, early childhood educator.
WHAT IS NEWLEAFED
NewLeafEd is ongoing, supported, and customised garden projects for early childhood centres and the home garden.
NewLeafEd aims to create a shared understanding that we are all responsible for our environment, even if it starts with a garden.
HOW DOES NEWLEAFED WORK
Working together to grow and care for a garden establishes a range of knowledge and skills that will become embedded in everyday practices for educators, carers, parents and children which will help them to feel confident in their ability to care for their environment.
By leading the lessons in an early childhood centre, I will create customised lesson plans, include educators in the learning experience and give power to the children, allowing them to lead the implementation and care of their garden
